How to...?

Have a look on my last project in progress, a 6'6"/18.75"/2.25" travel board for my mate JB.

Step 1:
Protect the deck, flip it and glass with bright yellow and 6 oz.

Step 2:
Almost dry? Cut the lap, watch out with UV resin..., right moment= perfect job, too late...mmmmh.

Step 3:
Protect the lap with tape and lay down the 6 oz, mix the turquoise tint into the white tint, mix it (3 strokes) and... go! Nice swirls, huh?

Step 4= step 2!

Step 5:
Here is my tip, even if the cut lap is nice, i fill the spaces between the laps with some resin. Once it's dry, i sand and i'm ready for the next step.

Step 6:
Cut some 4 oz for the logos and the FCS patches then glass.

Step 7:
On the deck i finish with some 4 oz, free lap with clear resin, don't forget the logos, and like usual 6 oz patches on the back third for maximum strenght. Once it's dry i pour some hot coat on the free lap, the patches, and sand. End of the glassing, here comes the hot coat!
